Angel,
Just read your report. You have a great sense of humor talking about the almost scam.
I received a match from eh a few weeks ago. A man from Dallas, so he said, now I don't know what to believe. He had some very nice photos posted. He requested immediate communication because he "didn't believe in all that email thing" after the first email, I tried to look up his profile again but his profile was gone. I emailed him asking him why he had canceled his account and he said "he wanted to only dedicate his time to me" In his first email he told me he was new at internet dating and had not dated since his wife had died. His wife had died of cancer and his son had died in a car accident 6 years ago. His had only lived in Dallas for 6 years, his mother was German and his father was American. He said he had been raised in Germany and had an German accent.
He was in love with me by the third email. He started sending me love poems and asking me to marry him! I started to get nervous about his love when we had not even talked on the telephone. I asked for his phone number, the name of the business, and an address from him.
When I called we had a bad connection and was very difficult to understand him. When he called me he was very short and would just say he would rather email me.
I never received the mailing address, nor the name of the business. He said he worked on a "contract basis" but would not a business that had been in the family forever have a name?
He said he had been "working on a big contract" then I didn't hear from him for two days. When he emailed me he said he got the condominium contract and would be going to Malaysia in three days. His profit would be 1.2 million! He would be in touch by email or phone. He said once he arrived to Malaysia, he would have a meeting about executing the contract. He was emailing me several time a day letting me know how things were going. He even emailed me photos of the site where the construction was going to take place.
Then he emailed me saying "he needed to get a working permit prior to starting construction because he was a foreigner" I replied that the company who was giving him the contract was responsible for the permit. He said he had to pay 1500.00 he needed my assistance to get the contract executed. He begged me to give him the money. I explained to him the permit would take about two weeks to get and I thought "it was a scam because the permit only cost around 300.00. I have not heard from him since.
What kind of business man would go out of the country to do a job without the proper permits and or documents, no money or a credit card? I don't believe he ever left home wherever that happens to be!
The man is supposed to be from Dallas. His name is Bob Smith his phone number: 469-737-9819

Beware of a fellow going by Dale Smith -email address daleysmelt@yahoo.com
will try and get money out of you because equipment he needs to finish a job in Nigeria says he is a electrical engineer designing a new power grid in Nigeria spouts alot of crape about how God sent us to each other etc. I have reported to BBP and his account is now not active so he will probably end up on another site

This is in regards to Rose from 9/27/09.
Sorry to say but Wilson Misrolav Haron is still running the same scam, except instead of going to Africa he now says he has to go to Jamaica for his job.
He then has his briefcase stolen with all his money (cash) in it. He does not have any of his credit cards with him. (How did he pay for the hotel?). He has no family or friends who can help him out, son is only 18 and does not have the ability to help. Blah Blah Blah.

Ladies beware this man is very very slick.

Well, I am glad to have come across this site by accident. Just after reading all these stories some guy started emailing me as his so called love interest. Lo and behold he lives in texas and is in west africa on business. Wife and parents dead, claims to have a 12 yr old son. Sent a few emails, by day two he told me he LOVED me, by day three he had lost his wallet and credit cards and $9000 cash and needed help to feed his son and pay his hotel. I have been laughing for days talking to this guy. I am glad I am not a trusting soul, for otherwise he might have gotten under my skin. Today he is very hungry and is still asking for money. I am just letting him waste his time and energy on this dead end! I am truly sorry so many people get scammed by these creeps. as always ...Linny
