What is "Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smithfraud.c" ?

It is a hijacking Scare Ad to load something I like to call ScareWare.

This Trojan seems to try to muscle you into clicking on a link that promises to clean up the Trojoan-spy.html.smithfraud.c. Once you click the link, some ScareWare called Security IGuard gets loaded on to your system. And there is no assurance on what this code will do on your system.

Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smithfraud.c (Kaspersky Lab) is also known as: Phish-BankFraud.eml.a (McAfee), Trojan Horse (Symantec), Trojan.Bankfraud (Doctor Web), HTML.Phishing.Bank-1 (ClamAV), Trj/Citifraud.A (Panda), HTML/Smithfraud.gen (Eset)

If you have the Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smithfraud.c you more than likely have more
Trojans, viruses and worms. Scan your system immediately.
