"Warning! Spyware detected on your computer!"

Ever wonder what would happen if you click on the malware on your hijacked desktop?

It says something like:

"Warning! Spyware detected on your computer!"
" Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer"
"View the list of top spyware removers here."

I took the "malware challenge" and clicked on the link that allowed me to "view the list of top spyware removers here"

Warning: Do NOT try this at home. I am a trained professional. If you get anything like this on your desktop don't be an idiot like me and click on what the malware tells you to click on. Just clean it off as soon as humanly possible!

It led me to the folks at Telsa Plus.

Telsa Plus cyber extortion?

Much like PS Guard, SpySheriff and all the other alleged "anti-spyware" liked to about 40 or 50 virus, trojans, worms and keyloggers, Telsa Plus claims to be a top rated "anti-spyware" application.

Do NOT give these people your credit card information to buy their product.

Here is how to clean your system off:

Remove Malware

If that doesn't work, you may want to try Hijackthis. But use it at your own risk as it can really mess up you system if you delete a registry file you are not supposed to.

Here is where to download it: Major Geeks

Once downloaded:

1) Scan your system

2) Select and remove this file:

[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1877239962-2024743916-928725530-1189\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5603]
" 000"="links.exe"

3) Do NOT use Internet Explorer unless you have to. I recommend this one:
