EZ 1 Rate is such a big scam. They train employees to collect credit card this is equivalent of giving training for terrorisim. Another branch was at India(country)>TamilNadu(state)>Chennai(city)>K.K.Nagar(Exact Location).

Its was a call centre with the name of Soft Logic. One of their process was EZ1Rate . I don know whether the company exist now, one of my friend was an employee , who left the company as he felt guilty.

Never trust any phone conversation , who insist on collecting Credit card numbers

Oh and IF you do want long distance service, you can get it from a legitimate company for a lot less than $60/month.

These fraudsters called EZ 1 Rate just called me now on my new phone I am yet to give out its number to any one saying that I was selected for a $300 USD fuel ticket/coupon for consistently using my phone. Funny isn’t it!!!.

I lead them on until I was asked to give my credit card number for a mere charge of $4.90 USD one time handling and postalÂ fee for the $300 USD coupon that I have won.

I then told the verifying operator to send me the said coupon LESS the amount she was asking for as handling and postal charges because I won’t mind that at all.

But when she persisted, I then told her “ma’am I am a lawyer from Nigeria so you have to work harder”. She hung up the phone immediately. I guess she got the message!!!!.

Pls. just be careful not to give out your credit information on the phone. Social Security number inclusive.

These people called me and began to offer a $300 card for gas that I could use anywhere. I said fine, but I am NOT going to give them any credit card numbers.
First I talked with one guy then another female came on, they give you a song and dance about how they only need the numbers off the FRONT of your credit card and that those are NOT your account numbers, suuure. So I started looking for old cards that where not valid anymore and wasted there time as they try to charge $1.95 each time you give them a card number.

DO NOT give them any valid credit card numbers. As others have posted they will just begin charging you for anything they want.

Oh and IF you do want long distance service, you can get it from a legitimate company for a lot less than $60/month.

This one is a SCAM all the way.

Got a call from them today. Googled while on the phone. Saw it was a scam. I NEVER give my credit card number over the phone. Plus the clearly Indian female caller said her name was Heidi Smith. Yea, right!!
